'Boss Level' looked like another average B-movie from but it ended up being loads of fun. Roy (Frank Grillo) says in the beginning “It’s like being stuck in a video game at a level you can’t beat,”
Part 'Groundhog Day', part 'Deadpool', this movie is fast paced with breakneck action and follows Roy as he tries to figure out why assassins are after him and how to stop them, if they get him the day starts over. But Roy learns from his mistakes and each new day gets him a little closer to the Boss.

Frank Grillo is ripped and has outrageous moves offing baddies, he is also a good comic actor. The film also features Oscar-nominated Naomi Watts and Mel Gibson.
Michelle Yeoh ("Star Trek: Discovery" (TV Series) Emperor Philippa Georgiou, "Crazy Rich Asians", "Tomorrow Never Dies", "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon", and "Memoirs of a Geisha") makes an appearance in a supporting role.

Boss Level is written and directed by Joe Carnahan, his previous films include "Narc (2002)", "Smokin' Aces (2006), and "The Grey (2011) starring Liam Neeson in a tale of survival.

Clocking in at a brisk 94 minutes, Boss Level doesn't waste any time. I think it was time well spent.

Now streaming on Hulu.
