This is a pair of SS 9.5's I built for myself. They were used at one show and have been sitting in the shop since then.
Since this was to be my personal pair, we used some upgraded parts we had lying around in the crossovers. These included foil inductors and some Mundorf caps.
This is a picture (although they look a bit darker in person and look this red when light is directed toward them)...

If we built this exact pair today, the costs would be...
Base price: $11,985
Hellfire paint - $900
Hand-rubbed finish - $2000
Upgrade crossover parts - $1500
The total would come to $16,385.00
These are available now for $12,000.

Im truly excited to have these in my home. I’ve heard them at the show, but I can’t wait to hear them with my equipment, in my room with my music. I agree Jim makes some amazing speakers regardless of price.

As someone who sells automotive paint, I get super excited when I see speakers with fun automotive colors. Hellfire is one of my favorites from that paint line and one I have used on my own projects before. Please do more custom finishes like this. They are too freakin cool. :thumb:
