I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO glad that I chose Bryston for my new system. I’ve been listening to music for years (since I was 14 and I am 55). I never have thought that music could sound this beautiful. It’s like re-discovering everything I knew AND finding new recordings that sound just fabulous in my system. A big thanks for creating these wonderful units!

Auditioning 7B3's this week replacing a 4B SST2 that I like alot but really want the 7Bs if the sound is worth the upgrade.
I am also running the BP173 pre and BDA-3 DAC being fed by and Oppo UDP 205 as transport.

I will be hearing the 7B3's with Focal Sopra 2's and Rockport Technologies Atria 2 loud speakers at the dealer. Also considering Sonus Faber Nova Olympica iii or V and Wilson Yvette.
Gershwin Acoustics, Paradigm Persona???
I have the Paradigm Prestige 95Fs now but will be looking for the next level. (Not loving that tweeter)

Any thoughts on good speaker pairings as for my Brystons...?

I just wanted to share with you some feedback from a very happy customer!!
I sold and installed the following: Bryston BP-17³ Stereo preamp,  Bryston 14B³ Power Amplifier, Bryston BIT20 AVR Power isolation transformer with voltage regulation, Bryston Model T speakers Espresso Walnut finish, Bryston Model T Subwoofers Espresso Walnut finish.

Polk’s top of the line SDA’s. I believe they were built late 80’s early 90’s. Definitely need at least a 4B to drive them…….

   That's a much better setup with the Model T's, having speaker separation. That sail boat or whatever it is on top of left speaker would not stay there for long on my Model T's when I'm rocking out. :lol:

I've gotten a bunch of play time on the new 'Active' Model T's and they're definitely doing the job.
With quality audio files, they give me super clear playback. Bottom end is very tight and they sound great with or without additional subwoofers.
My main concern with my old system was harshness/fatiguing at high volumes - these rock at high volumes and I can listen for hours.

This amp is 31 yrs old, Was well taken care of from the original owner  Right down from the original packaging and owners manual.
So far it sounds amazing. Definitely will be doing some vinyl playback and streaming from Tidal in the next few days.

Then I added the Bryston BDA-3 and lets just say I was blown away.
I can just imagine when the Bryston BDP-3 comes in and is added.
Bryston never disappoints, that is for sure. My audio system is powered by 2 Bryston 7b sst 2 with an old but great pre amp the Bryston BP25 and now the brand new Bryston BDA-3. I have this system hooked up to the Mirage M1 si. Just love the Mirage.

This was my system back in 2014. I might be a bit of a Bryston NUT.

The speakers are Axiom M80's. I actually purchased them second-hand through Bryston. According to Mike Pickett, they were used in house during the development for the Model T speakers, and there was no longer any particular use for them.

The M80's were driven by 7B SST2 monos and the stereophonic DIY subs were driven by 7B THX monos. The preamps was an SP-17 but was soon replaced by a BP-25 with phono and a BDA-1.

That system rocked like you wouldn't believe but sadly I had to part with much of it when I moved back to Ontario so I could be physically closer to Bryston ;-)

They are my North Star!

My current setup looks mostly like this at the moment. A 4B THX for the Logans and a 4B NRB for the new DIY subs. BP-25 with phono and a BDA-1.

The subs are a tad underpowered though and deserve some 7B's. My crossover ought to be upgraded to a Bryston as well.

In addition to the subs, I also designed and built the equipment rack.

Yeah, I’m seeing the differences now. No badging; I thought they might have been flipped around, and the Solid Steel racks don’t have the Oval Slot in the Shelves.
I have Grand Prix Audio Racks in my 2 CH System. Looking for something to put my TT on as my interest in DIY Servers has created a lack of space with multiple DC Power Supplies taking up multiple shelf space. Too expensive to expand using GPA at this point. I kinda like the look of the Solid Steel. The GPA is Chrome with Carbon Fiber Shelving so the Solid Steel would probably look ok next to it.

Thanks Mariusz….the price is certainly a strong point. At least half of what SS is. Wish they had Chrome with Black in their Spider lineup.

Thanks for the kind words Mike, I love my Bryston gear.I had a conversation with Mr.Tanner, told him that this is my "Bryston-Davidson".For speakers, I'm using Dynaudio Excite X44, Cardas cables all around and Vicoustic panels.You welcome to check my gallery for some pictures.Oh, and that audio rack also comes as bamboo, instead of glass.
