**SOLD** Salk Exotica 3's $8000

Really hard for me to do but I will not have room to keep these nor use them now that I have new speakers.

Highly customized versus the standard speaker.

Copper baffles.
Steel plinths.
Solid copper feet.
Automotive metallic white paint.
Crates I fabricated. Cotton sleeves, foam inserts inside keep the speakers 1.5 inches from all internal spaces.
Crate for the plinths as well.
Standard xover and internal wiring.
The umbilicals have silver plated Mil spec wire.
Copper phase plugs.

Not a nick, smudge, or scratch of any kind.

Standard one piece versions are $13000.

$11,500 $10,999 $9999.00 $8000

I highly recommend pick-up or a meet-up. Even with cases they would be more expensive to ship than two boxes. That's five 6 pieces (5x 3/4" plywood boxes & one cardboard box). Kalamazoo, MI

All magnetic grills in black.

Those are stunning. Someone is going to get some fantastic speakers. I can tell you, being a Rythmik FN-8 sub woofer owner - a pair of them, that the bass is about as good as you can get. Fast, very fast, and detailed, yet with the warmth and body of the instruments. Jealous.

I had a small hand in their design, but the Salk team made it a reality. Kind of like the architect getting the credit when it was the finish carpenter who really made it beautiful. It took me weeks to get up the courage to post them but I'd rather have someone who wants Salks to enjoy them than to push them over to a second system and have them collect dust just for sentimental reasons. And I don't have space for a second system anyway. My loss.

Wow man, yours have always been some of my favorites. If I were in the market and had that kind of budget, I'd be all over them.

GLWTS.

I packed these up today. Six boxes in the ensemble. Very heavy. Two tops, two bottoms, one metal bases, one box of standard wood plinths.

I took pictures of the packing process for the buyer to see and for insurance purposes. Can provide to the buyer.
