A couple months ago VSA was approached by a television show called Party Down, and they asked if they can use one of our speakers in one of their episodes, and of course we couldn't turn that offer down. We were told that one of the writers of the show specifically requested our speakers and specifically wrote Von Schweikert into the scene that takes place at a rich investors home(he's obviously a fan
). The show itself is an adult comedy about a bunch of catering workers that cater parties to the rich and famous in Hollywood. In the scene that our speakers are featured in, one of the characters is talking to the investor's son about the Von Schweikerts, and how his dad would have purchased a pair for him if he had made the deans list. The scene is short, but funny. The show airs on a network called Starz, not sure if any of you guys out there have that network, or even heard of it, but here's a youtube link to the scene, enjoy!
