Well, I jumped the gun and was wrong. I don't know what I was thinking but aes sounds superior after all. I have been testing both channels for a few hours with a variety of music and conclude that aes sounds more spacious, natural, and the sound stage is bigger, less compressed... I even changed the cheap coax cable with a Bryston bnc cable, still aes is better.. I am wondering if somehow Bdp-2 has a break in period, it's been on for 6 hours and sound quality seems better compared to when I first booted it up.
