What's the plan Rick? Were they empty cabinets or something? I can't imagine someone gutting a perfectly good speaker.
These are cabinets for a new array that I've designed. AV123 array owners will be offered a trade-in to upgrade their speakers.
At first I thought those were LS9 cabinets, but those had 9 Neo Drivers a side. Which are these?
It's a new design with ten 6.5" woofers and fourteen ribbon / planar tweeters. The crossover is via active DSP and four channels of amplification will be needed. I'll be doing a local demo before they ship.
So "LS14's"?? (Not sure you're planning on the same Neo drivers)This could get interesting......
No, not the same tweeters.
Sounds like a proper design is coming for these.
