Hey Dr. Lloyd: I built an octal 6 a couple years ago. I notice you now sell a 6a and have an upgraded caps package. The 6a says the passive stage has a 0 db gain? I believe my 6 has a -6 db insertion loss, is that right? I'd like to change that and change the volume/balance pots and upgrade the caps in the signal path. any suggestions for how to accomplish this?
