Has anyone had the opportunity to compare these IC's. The price is about the same and both seem to fit the bill of a fairly neutral, open, and musical highend cable. Any recommendation?

Thanks
Christian

Hi,

Though I have never tried the Ridge Street offerings, the AZ in my experience is the best cable at least for the money.  I don't think you can go wrong.  Have the Matrix Ref I and II and tried buddy's Silver Ref II, both top notch performers and w/o peers in their respective price class in my experience.  Generally, smooth and very organic with good neutrality.  Silver Ref is sparkling clean w/ fast and tight bass and would match well for warmer system.  The Matrix copper is overall, a very balanced cable and oh so musically enticing.

Get a 30 day in home trial and stay with the winner.

Good luck,

Kenobi

Kenobi,

You may want to give the Ridge Street's a try, you may end up with a new, favorite "for the money" cable.  Especially since the Zen go for a grand while the RS cost $560 for 1m RCA's.
