!Replacement Blu-ray from Sony is worse..

So my SONY BDP-S360 blu-ray player was dying/died and SONY has an exchange program because a lot of them die. The replacement unit they sent me was worse than the unit I originally sent them....stay away from these models if you can it seems that it is a lemon.

Any updates? I assume you sent the new (crappier) unit back?

I was told by support via email to call a special customer service team, I called, got transferred 3 times then told someone would call me back....still waiting!!!
 The issue is that when you play a blu-ray or DVD and press the stop button the unit totally bails out, video signal goes away won't return me to the main menu just goes blank. If I hit play I get audio but no video, it takes turning off the unit and restarting it or pulling out the HDMI cable and reinserting it to get it back. The cables are all good no problem there it just bails whenever you hit stop. Stop really means Stop!!!
 When it works its got a great picture, easily as good as my PS3, so for now it sits.... :roll:

I wonder if the HDCP "handshake" is trying to regain something and failing to do so?
