I know Dodd has a well deserved reputation here on AC.  I was surfing CL and spotted these Dodd 120 Mono Block Tube Amplifiers in Seattle area.  I don't know the seller or anything about the amps. Just a heads up if interested.

When I was looking around for a deal on a used amp for my LS9 speakers, they were on my short list.  A Moscode deal came up first, but I've always kinda wanted a pair of Dodd 120's--- but not at that price.

Agreed!!  I sold mine (with caps upgraded to Munsdorf Silver in Oil) for around $1600 back in 2009.

I know that Gary made a couple of versions of that amp (3?).  Each generation was slightly quieter than the one before.

I agree, but Danny, you've known me for years.  I'm as cheap as they come.  Always building your kits, or looking for used stuff.  The only thing in my system I've ever bought new was Dodd preamps and amps... because Gary's stuff, like your kits, had such incredible value/sound quality ratios.
