Problem with BP25
« on: 21 Aug 2010, 07:18 pm »
Hi , I have a Bryston BP25 Pre amplifier which I am using for 5 years, Recently I find the indication in the MPS 1 Power supply turns Orange after an Hour of play. But this is not affecting the sound in any way, But I am afraid it would damage the preamplifier. What could be the Problem.

PS : If I Reverse the Polarity then the Indication in the Power supply is normal ( Green Colour)

Thanks in advance

You're a lot better off posting in the Bryston Circle.  James Tanner moderates it and posts a lot.  I'm sure he'll tell you to call them, but he may have some advice first.  They've got an impeccable warranty/service.
