My ipod and computers music was deleted, I re installed my itunes and logged on but all of my pre purchases and videos are not re syncing? what am I doing wrong?

Assuming your music is still available on your computer and shows up in iTunes, did you authorize your machine with the iTunes store (Store > Authorize Computer)?

Try calling Apple.  They might be able to setup your iTunes account to re-download your previous purchases, if still available.  I did this once, so I know it's a possibility.  Just be persistent.
