            Don't spend too much money on a blu ray player. If you could do a side by side comparison I know you wouldn't see much
             difference between a $150.00 player and a $1,000 player.

As said too often - oppos w/ darbee do look better than $99 blu Ray players, and if you need a good CD player / dac, it's hard to beat the 105D at or under its price point.

And, if you do the Modwright "Truth" mod you have a player that rivals highly respected $10k CDP's, and it does all formats!

My personal favorite is the Bill Thalmann / Music Technology modded 105 - a Conrad Johnson sounding Oppo 105 - but yeah - I think the point is that there's a lot you can do with these.
