Although I really don't consider myself a bird or nature photographer... it seems that I've been on a winter, wild bird kick lately. Here's a few more
common, midwest, wild birds coping with our snowy winter last week. These photos have also helped me to learn and appreciate more about our
local wild birds.

A lucky capture. I converted the image to high key black & white in order to get the pen and ink effect.

Among the signs of Spring, the bees are waking up, and our farm colonies are buzzing. This photo is really fun BIG. Click on it to take you to the Flickr site.

Between the birds, animals, flora and fauna, we are surrounded by an array of sentient witnesses at our land in Southern IL. The image of this youngster was captured on a wet, misty sundown (6:15pm),
when we had a hillside, face-to-face encounter.
