I haven't posted here in a while. Happy New Year to everyone.

This was from our road trip back home after visiting my parents in NY. I stuck the camera out of the sunroof (my wife was driving). Nothing too great, but the sunset was interesting enough for me to open up the sunroof to try to get a shot. The pic didn't do it justice like seeing it with eyes. Of course I did some LR tweaks to it as well.

Last night, we had our first snow of the season here in Southern Illinois. Not bad... less than 3 inches. By morning, this American Goldfinch was trying to figure out
how to get food from the inside of a seed ball of a Sweet Gum tree. Persistent little fellow.

1) House Finch - Weird... 'cause he lives outside!
2) Nuthatch - A real dandy and fast as light!
3) Titmouse - No... the plural of "Titmouse" is NOT "Titmice."
