Hi Magnatest and all Audio Circle members.
Nice shot, congratulation to your son.
I did something similar but with car light streaks...
However, not as impressive as your son work.
By the way, what's the ball on the lower left of the picture?

Do you have more?

Thanks for the kind words. I really like his work, too. I'll point my son to this thread and let him answer questions, etc.

Sigma Dp2 Merrill is my new camera. It is my consolation prize for my favorite slide films going away. I have several digital cameras including a couple Canon DSLRs and this is the first digital camera (that's not an $80,000 digital back) that really excites me from an image quality standpoint.

The settings shot were f5 at 1/200th of a second at ISO 100. When shooting digital I always shoot RAW and post process, this image does have a bit more surreal feel to it than the original raw, however it's not too far off.

Hope pass out guy is okay.

Really like the mirror config on this piece.  We run with Pierce quints.  A-One gear.  And you think audio can get expensive?

Prices can vary depending on specific department needs.  Most of these rigs are custom builds with a one-year lead time.  We purchased two rigs about a year ago (demos), both quints (meaning an aerial plus 2000 gallon-per-minute pump).  One piece has an aluminum 75' the other 105' steel aerial.  1.3 million for the pair.   That's with a demo discount.   A straight pumper (no aerial) can range from $400K to $600K...understanding there are lots of variables and feature choices.

Thanks for the info FG.  :thumb:

And that's just the cost of the basic truck my friend.  Add on-board equipment, maintenance + fuel (MPG is not a design consideration) and you got some major costs.

No doubt. To the extent that it should be written as "GPM".

The guy at the gym looked fine.

The fire truck truly looked like a million bucks  :thumb:
