Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, A tale of a fateful trip
That started from this tropic port, Aboard this tiny ship.
The mate was a mighty sailing man....

The other end of the age scale. This "handliner" by Mark Reuten is fresh-minted and here just returning from an inaugural demonstration run for the new owner (on the left, in green). Note the construction and how the water can be seen through the skin of the hull.

and here's the result of a storm on another nearby beach a year ago:

A high tide and a strong southeasterly wind did it.

First 3 done with a Fuji F31fd and the last with a Leica DLux 4

Yes it is. The last was taken at Cadboro Bay near Victoria BC Canada; the first three were at Telegraph Bay, about 1/4 mile away on the other side of the point and about a block from where I live.

Yes Peoples... don't attempt to adjust your screen, you are seeing this correctly.  :wtf:

If this is #2, it makes ya kinda wonder what must be "Enterprise 1"?

I took this photo from inside a zooming bus in the streets of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. As I couldn't quite believe my eyes, I barely had time to catch the shot. I'm glad that I got it at all, even if the image quality isn't that great.
Now... if you can't quite wrap your minds around the name of this... er "Enterprise," then let me explain. In Bengali "Mama" does NOT mean "Mama," it means "Uncle," and "Vagina" does NOT mean... well you know... it means "Nephew." So, long story short...

This bus business is an Uncle Nephew Enterprise. And... since it's #2, well, they must have another one of these riding around somewhere. Kinda sweet, isn't it?  :rotflmao:

Thanks, and that's today's lesson in cultural diversity around the world.  :thumb:

The Amalfi Coast including Capri are among my favorite places. Let's all go there right now! .... and the food is great too!
