Looked out the back door this evening just in time to catch this murder of eating and trampling machines.

...if these are still around in a few months, they may end up being sausage  :guns:

8 foot fence around the veggies, scott... or the use of your car is always legal and in season... no need to wait until autumn.

DON'T DO IT!  My first wife killed more deer with cars (three cars, actually) than most hunters do in a lifetime. Cheaper to buy new plants>   :duh:

Scott, just do down into Jefferson County, walk into a bar (Sorry, Bob In St Louis), and say "who wants fresh venison, no questions asked?"

Problem solved!   :thumb:

I like the Jedi Scarecrow.  Apparently the mind trick did not work on those deer, though!

Nice one, Jon L.  Can't go wrong with Ahhh Beams.  (Makes me even hungrier to try out the new patching technology in latter day Photoshop versions.  Not that the wires hurt this particular image, but I just look at them and think what a pain it would be to remove them with CS2.)

I don't know what they'd do with it, but it seems like it would be a good candidate for "Animals Talking In All Caps".  Not only are they funny (usually) but the photos all tend to be higher-than-normal quality and that one certainly fits the bill. (not a bird pun, honest!)  Nice shot!
