Have any of you used the secondary line out as a sub out with success?

I just remembered that I have a friend with the Fet Valve preamp and he runs dual subs with it.

I have a Transcendence Ten preamp (unsure whether like a fet valve or not) and run a sub out of 2nd output with no problem.

Running something else (subwoofers, bi-amping) is what the secondary outputs are for. Do keep in mind that putting secondary components and also long interconnects (assuming single ended, not balanced) can put a lot of demand on a preamplifier to 'drive' them and have a negative effect on sound quality. Ideally, the preamp would have very low output impedance, the amplifiers and or subwoofers would have very high input impedance, and the cables should be as short as practical. If it's not spelled out in the manual, reach out AVA.
