Guy,
Have you completed the move to Canada yet?
Hi Danny and all Audio Circle members.
Thanks for asking about my move back to my home country Canada.
It’s shows interest from you in what I am doing…
I wish my brothers and sisters would have shown the same interest as you do.
I did move back to Canada on March 2012, however,
things did not turn out the way I wanted.
I came back to Vietnam three months later.
The reason for my return to Vietnam with my Vietnamese wife is that I did not have enough money and could not find a job (64 years old) because of weak legs.
I cannot work standing up all day long and that’s new,
two year ago, it was not like that.
Therefore, I temporally came back to Vietnam to try to squeeze more money out of my rich wife.
No joke, she’s the one with all the money, the problem, is that money cannot get out easily from this Vietnamese Communist country.
I think I should get back to Canada before Christmas 2012.
Last time I brought with me to Canada my V1, my two (02) V2 and my N3TL and lots of other audio stuff, but this time, I will leave all those nice speakers to my wife and she will try to sell them to some rich Vietnamese audiophiles.
Yes, there are some rich Vietnamese audiophiles in Vietnam; otherwise the audio stores would not sell speaker cables at 500 USD…
If I am leaving all my speakers with my wife, it’s not because I don’t like them, on the contrary, I love them, but it’s costly to ship all those heavy units to Canada and once in Canada I will only have a small apartment and the V1 needs lots of room to perform.
I might buy some more stuff from you, but no OB.
Once in Canada, I think I will retire, because I had a very busy life up to now.
I would love to start in Canada my dream business AUDIO 13,
but to do that, I need money or someone else’s money (Partner);
I don’t think this will happen, but who knows what future will bring.
When I was 25 years old, it never cross my mind; that I would be living in Vietnam.
Up to now, I have spent 17 years in this (Crazy) country.
Therefore, if everything goes well (Which is rarely the case here) I will be back in Canada and enjoy my semi-retirement.
Once in Canada, I will sponsor my Vietnamese wife, but that won’t be easy, since I have very limited income.
Well that’s all for now, I hope this answer your questions, but feel free to ask more questions.
It’s always my pleasure to answer questions from any one at Audio Circle.
