I know that there are some who believe that the choice of speaker cable with these vintage Quads is irrelevant... but it has been a far from my listening experience.   In fact, it has been quite the opposite given the design of the Quad 57 which is like a large capacitor.

I have a tube based custom designed system and would greatly appreciate suggestions on cable candidates to audition.  Silver as well as copper.  I tried a pair of Stereovox's old model several years back... and they sounded great, but their current cable is way out of line price-wise for me.
