Hi, Has anyone ever rewired one of this arms, I have accidentally snagged two of the wires & broken them somewhere in the arm tube. But the remaining two wires will not allow the rear wire to pull through.

best to ship it to VPI and have it done properly at their shop.

Steve Leung at VAS Audio does all of VPI tonearm wiring and cartridge rebuilds. He can rewire your tonearm with a couple different wire options. Highly recommended.

Hi Guys, Thanks but no tanks, I can do this sort of thing my self, after all I make 12'' tonearms. Just looking for some pointers, but I think I have found a way in.

Hi Guy's, just to you know I have now managed to repair these wires. Boy it was not easy, VPI wire is a pig of a wire to solder.
Used VDH wire for repair, very easy to solder.

I've rewired a higher end JVC tonearm... never again.  I'd send it off.

Yes, The VPI is deliberately engineers so ''Joe Regular'' definitely could not do it.
Whereas I deliberately designed my arm so the wire can be changed without special tools & it takes about 5 minutes after the loom is made up.
