Ncore on/off switch
« on: 14 Nov 2012, 01:26 pm »
I am almost ready to fire this up. Is an on/off switch necessary? If so what would be a good one for the front of the silicon ray case? Do you leave these plugged in when not in use?
Thanks,
drmike

You can either have no on/off switch and have an nAmpon or both.  I choose IEC/switch wtihout an nAmpon.

Yes, plugged in all the time.  Why not?

Mine have only a power on/off on the IEC power inlet at the rear. Otherwise I leave them on all the time and I'm quite happy with this. The only moment when I regret not having a on/off switch exploiting nampon is when I need to make the DC calibration for which I then need to disconnect nampon by hand.
