Hello,

I bought my wr100d for quite a long time ago, and my primary source of music streaming is Tidal.
The problem is that I'm not able to select the NuPrime WR-100D as 'audio out' - it isn't even present.
I can choose to play through/via my NVidia Shield w/ built-in chromecast, but that's not something I want to do since I need to have my TV powered up then as well.

I don't know if it's the Mac version of Tidal that's the problem, or if it's just the wr100d that doesn't support it -- cause I can't see the SHIELD/Chromecast in the Tidal desktop application either, just in Tidal-web.

It's really sad I'm not able to use Tidal and play with Master quality since I need to use the NuPrime/D-Stream android application to be able to stream to it.

Is there any kind of workaround, that will fix this issue for me for the time being.
There must be something I can do so I can play music in Tidal from my PC -- to NuPrime WR-100D ?!

Any thoughts, anyone?

Hi,

You need to use the dedicated app : D-Stream.

It is not possible to use the WR100-D with the Tidal app directly.

install it on your mobile or tablet, register and then access a tidal with your credentials.

Yes, D-Stream was Nuprime partner for the WR-100/100D and nowD-Stream has taken over the development.
This is mentioned in the product page: https://nuprimeaudio.com/product/wr-100/

D-Stream has a successor product Primo HD with native 24-bit/192kHz decoding (WR-100/100D has 24-bit/96kHz where 192kHz was down sampled).

It seems like you didn't read my post entirely.
I know about the D-Stream application (I mention this in the post). What I need/want is a solution for controlling the D-Stream/NuPrime from the computer, cause I don't want to be forced to use my smartphone for this.

I can't understand why there isn't a PC & Mac version of the software, that doesn't make any sense at all.

Oh, sorry.  The app is designed to work with streaming services, and there are limitation imposed by various parties (streaming services API availability, Qualcomm AllPlay API) on the Windows/MacOS.

I think we need to have a more thorough investigation and provide a guide.
