Super V MFD

Has anyone had any luck locating 1.25 thick MFD for the side panels for the Super V? I have not been able to find any locally at cabinet shops or lumber companies. Trying to  avoid the seam created when gluing 3/4 and 1/2 inch  together. Any advice on where else to search ?  Thanks, Paul

I have never found it and always had to either glue BB or MDF together and then sand well and seal to get rid of the seam.   Sorry.

If you're near a Wurth Wood Group they may have it:

Alternatively you could glue 1/4" mdf to either side of a 3/4" core. Then put 1/4" radius roundovers on both edges and you'll never see the seam.
With a decent primer you'd never see the seam anyway, even if it's in the center.

Sizes thicker than 1" typically has to be ordered from a specialty wood shop.

Today was my lucky day! After calling quite a few wood shops , I ran across a cabinet maker in the middle of placing an order to his wood supplier. He did not use 1.25" MDF but was able to order a 4 x 8 sheet for me. I offered to pay up front ,He said no worries just pay when I pick up. Not to many trusting souls around like that anymore.     Paul
