Title: Better, more powerful remote for NuPrime IDA-8?

Is there a universal remote that works better than the remote that is supplied with the NuPrime IDA-8? Perhaps one that incorporates conversion from IR to RF? (The remote for the IDA-8 has never measured up to the amp’s stellar audio qualities, and now with our new media furniture, it’s almost intolerable.)

You can use the published Remote Code on IDA-8 product page to program your remote control. There are app-based WiFi to IR remote controls but we have never tried those gadgets.
