Title: pre-amp for the Carver ZR1000?

I am buying a Carver ZR1000 and would appreciate any thoughts about pre-amps that match up well. They will be used to drive a  ht setup with Martin Logan cinema i for the center and a pair of still-unpurchased ML fronts (maybe Claritys, maybe Aeon i's). I will also be using the ML's for 2-channel listening. My listening/tv room is 18 feet wide by 17 feet deep. Tnx for any help.
