New items on the list:

1] Tube Upgrades
2] Integrated options
3] Socket upgrade
4] Extra heavy duty 12V filament supply, 240 watts, custom enclosure

Some upgrades have been deleted/changed as well since the new MKIII circuits superseded them.

Hottest upgrades:
1. DC Filaments
2. 6L6WXT+ & TungSol 6SN7GTB package
3. Micalex Sockets

2011 Best Sellers:
1] NS-40
2] Beacon II
3] Custom work w/ iron provided by customer**

Items not pushed as much as they should have been:
1] NS-60
2] NS-SEP30
These two are the most powerful in their categories and deserve more recognition. They will go toe to toe with much more expensive amplifiers.

** DO NOT throw away that old tube amp! Save big, get what you want. No compromises!

The prices for several amplifiers have been lowered since last year. An interesting idea since so many things have gone up.

However, there is a method to all this madness: The upgrade list for tube amplifiers has been expanded and there is still a multiple upgrade discount program.

Our primary goal is to enhance the customization procedure. Get more and save more.

You can easily get a tube 60 watt/channel customized amplifier for lass than the base price of many off the shelf units that will supply less than 60 watts per channel.

New popular upgrade: We offer an integrated option that is essentially a Beacon One in the same chassis as the amplifier for a very affordable price.

One new product, an extremely well made, heavy duty filament power supply will be shown for the first time in the next few days.

The purpose behind the 240W power supply supply is to easily and efficiently operate any set of tubes with a high filament draw. A KT-66 will work fine.

Hi Blair and all Audio Circle members.
Can the NS-40 and the NS-SEP20 be integrated models?
How much money would you ask for a 6 inputs front mounted rotary selector switch?

I will email you about that in case there are other considerations that need to be taken into account. Good news: Labeling for the faceplate is no longer an issue as you saw with the remote controlled Beacon Four.

The NS-40 and SEP20 can be integrated via a voltage divider setup. There is an option for a built-in active preamp as well.

Hi Blair and all Audio Circle members.
Since a CD player, a FM tuner and a phono pre-amplifier all have around 2V output, why would I need a built-in active preamplifier on the NS-40 integrated?
Going with a NS-40 integrated, is to avoid the expense of a pre-amplifier with the interconnect or a built-in active pre-amplifier.
Last unanswered question.
Is the DC filament option, built-in inside the NS-40?

The DC filament upgrade is external to all amplifiers and preamplifiers.

You do not need an active preamp- but it is a one-up in performance from a voltage divider passive setup. The active allows more detail to come through. However, the passive works fantastic with high voltage inputs, such as what you mentioned and is a very good economical choice.

Hi Blair and all Audio Circle members.
Can we see a picture of your external DC filament unit with the interconnections?
Thanks.

I can get a photo for you in the next few days. The standard power supply is almost identical to a laptop supply and has a 1/4" mono jack at one end. The back of an amp or preamp with the DC input shows a 1/4" socket. Otherwise, everything else remains the same.
