Nice to see AJ get some press...I was really surprised this year with his offerings.

It says Soundsmith so he must have thought it sounded analog.

As an owner of his original Monitor 1, I’m a big fan of AJ’s work and his no nonsense approach.  :thumb:

AJ,

Which monitor did you take to 2014 AXPONA? I remember liking how it sounded.

Google say M2s, my vague recollection is the passive version.
Back when I was still Soundfield.

Was kidding Jason. Glad you Anand and Tom swung through. Thanks for letting me know about the video, I'm largely oblivious to such things.
I did notify Peter/AVShowroom I'm still "Soundfield".
Though on more than one occasion I've been tempted to put a sledge hammer to my speakers, so maybe "Soundsmith" has a ring to it.

cheers,

AJ

You can actually get a touch of what they're describing even through a cell phone.  As usual AJ has this talent for getting it right, especially if you like dynamics and realism.  Hard to tell from a cell phone, but I might guess that they're the best voiced speakers AJ has produced, there was a sense of coherence from top to bottom.  I'll listen again when I find my headphones and portable DAC (I just moved).

That smaller fully active speaker in the video was more my flavor, but the active version doesn't seem to be listed on your website?
What's the model number and price, etc?

I remember liking your AXPONA 2011 speakers, in hotlanta. With 18" woofers. Remember that one AJ? Back then they were not for sale, just a trial run and you had one of the best sounding rooms. Playing off a portable mp3 player iirc.  :thumb:

Hmmm, perhaps Axpona 2012 Jacksonville Rich? Had 18s there. If it were Hotlanta, it might have been at Earthshaking music, were there was a DIY GTG. Did drag a rather early, not for sale version there...2011 sounds about right I think. Unless you meant CapFest 2011...bit further north
