When I go to the gym I wear lifting gloves to prevent callouses.

All of you guys should know about steri-strips as a stitches replacement, for small-ish cuts like this.

They are cheap, they work, and they are made for this purpose. Doctors use them. You cut them to the length you need and hold the cut closed with them; they have an effective adhesive and they themselves are very strong.

We always travel with some in my shaving kit for emergencies.

Made by 3M who are not my heroes, but I cut them slack on this one:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OcrREr5Gbw

It is really tough to make that stuff work in the palm of your hand. As you close your hand all the pressure that they produce to pull the wound closed goes away. And when you open up your hand it would allow them to stretch and the wound to open up.

The Super Glue worked really well and sealed the wound from outside air. Today it looks pretty good.

No, we save duct tape for the larger wounds - amputations, appendectomies, beheadings. :|

Hey Matt,
Remember,of course you do, when on a lathe and turning a piece of stainless how freaking hot the chips were! You running a CNC now? I loved working aluminum though.
