I want to sell my CL-15.  This is a fine player and was a giant-killer in its day (ca 1998).  It received very favorable reviews in comparison with much more expensive players.  In my opinion it still compares favorably with machines in the $2,000 range.  I recall seeing it in Stereophile's recommended lists for several years but I do not recall if it was class a or class b.  The machine is very heavy and very robust - the "built like a tank" simile is appropriate.

The player has a Burr-Brown 20-bit DAC that can be used as a high-quality outboard DAC with its coax input on the back panel.  The player supports the HDCD format, and has the optional balanced circuitry and XLR connectors in addition to the single-ended circuitry with RCA connectors.  It also has a RS-232 connector.

I am selling this player with the original owner's manual and remote, and in its original - very heavy and solid - shipping box.  I can find no scratches or marks on it, but I have affixed damping material under the bottom cover and inside the top cover, and have attached brass cone  feet, so I am calling it a condition 8.

This player listed for $1695 in 1998 and I would like to get $600 for it but will consider offers.  Please PM if you are interested.
