Mod/Upgrade a Sony receiver with digital amplification??

Steve--I have looked through the threads in this forum but have not found any mention of modifiying the new Sony receivers with digital amps.

An industry seems to be popping up around modding the Panny's and now JVC.

Have you had a look at these units? Any thoughts on upgrading them?

I took a look at the Sony AVD-S500ES. It is a bit more expensive than the others, but is probably more heavy-duty as well and includes a drive. This would be a good candidate for modding. Just need someone to send me one. It would probably need the same improvements that I do for the Panasonic.
