Movie Preferences

I like a lot of art hoiuse type flicks, my wife like everything though, from shmaltzy chick flicks to action movies, so we end up watching almost everything that comes out.

Components

DVD or LaserDisc Player

Toshiba 4800, its works fine.. and its got an average dvd-a function to boot.

Satellite or Cable

Going through shaw cable, i have the motorola HDTV 6200 terminal, we only get 7 hdtv channels though.. Canada sucks.

Video Display

Toshiba 47hx83. Great picture, good size for the room

Preamp

Audio alchemy DLC.. quiet, silent, small.. i really like this thing

Power Amp

Crown hca-2 250watts into 8, 400 or so into 4, and like 700 into 2.. drives my speakers prett ywell

Speakers

Acoustat 1+1's: monster speakers

Subwoofer

2 sc300's in 4.0ft3 boxes, with a 250 watt plate amp driving each.. very musical, and can still rumble the house when called upon
