Just found her on Tidal (mellow female vocalist/songwriter, plays guitar and piano).
Interesting story: born 1985; suffered a severe bicycling accident in 2003 with extensive neurological damage; used music to help recovery and deal with the constant pain; has low tolerance to light and noise; discovered by the same folks that found Nora Jones; and easy on the eyes.

Been a long time fan. Saw her many years back (after her initial album took off).

Saw her in SF a few years ago, great show! Big fan :thumb:

I have a couple of her albums and listen ti them fairly often. I did not know her back story though. Also, I hadn't noticed how hot she was...check the home page of her web site, hubba hubba.

I've been aware of her since My One and Only Thrill. She is one of the very, very few "new" artists I can listen to. However, she does far too many moody, slow ballads. I really love her upbeat music. I think her last studio album (just heard a tiny snippet) is kind of rock which from what I heard is not typical and I really didn't like it at all.

Dan Wright inadvertently turned me on to her about 6 years ago when he left one of her cds in the drive of a MWI player delivered to me. Lucky me! And yes, I mailed it back to him.

How does the Hirez recording sound? I was disappointed only 24/48 available.
