Hello :-)

Im From Denmark, I have an interest in Audio and DIY, my plan is to build a small 12v battery powered amp, building my own Full range speakers, music from laptop, an usb dac, so it will all run on battery, kind of off-grid, sustainable hifi...well, time will tel if Im going to be satisfied with the sound. Stereo is more interesting than sourround, at the moment. But I dont play around with it every day..when the time and motivation is there..and then I enjoy the music even more :-)

  • To whom more was given more will be required.

Welcome!

I assume your interest in battery power is due to power aberrations (the technical terms for nasty quality power).

There used to be a physically small (not tiny) well respected high-end (not inexpensive) European low-powered solid state amp kit built on a piece of birch (no cabinet) years ago that ran off a car battery, just can't recall the name - darn it - sorry.

Here's an interesting inexpensive one:  https://www.jerryselectronics.com/diykits/kaa03021/kaa03021.htm
