That's me on there,
except that I am not overweight like him
and I don't dream about hamburger, etc...
However, I do dream about many things made with some chocolate
like chocolate chip muffins, dark chocolate ice cream,
spongy chocolate cake and blueberries pie, apple pie and custar - lemon pie...
But I am reasonnable, I eat only in extreme emergency situation...
Which is about once a month...  :thumb:

Monday tomorrow, I have an appointment with an urologist
for what might be an hernia.
Hopefully, they won't have to cut me open. OUCH !

I dislike the urologist. Something about a grown man handling my junk is incredibly horrifying.

Nordkapp !
Believe me, I don't like it either.
Only my wife can touch that intimate part of my body,
she knows how to handle it.
But my wife is on the other side of the planet right now
and even if she was with me, she's no doctor,
minds you, she thinks she knows everything,
like many women... :duh:

Hi all,
this morning I went to my appointment with the urologist.
He says he's got to operate me for my hernia.
I asked him why I've got that ?
Well, it happens often when you get old, that was his answer.
I asked him if my daily one hour walk and 15 minutes stretching exercises
contributed to the developpment of my hernia.
He said it might be a factor, but not always the reason.
He will operate me on March the 16th, he will do it himself.
I asked him if I will be under local or general anesthesia.
He says at my age (68) it's better to operate under general anesthesia.
They operate via the belly button and install some kind of a net, screen....
Anyway, he says the whole thing will only last 15 minutes
and right after the operation I can walk out of the hospital,  :o
anyway, that's what he says, will see...

Guy 13
Grrrrr... Getting old is not fun, always some little things popping up...  :(

Friend of mine had that web/net placed last Spring. The guy was in major pain afterwards. I know they made a decent size incision above his public area.

Hi all,
I just came back from my family doctor
and guess what ????
He says I have cancer and I will die in one month !
I'm a big fat liar !  :duh:
Sorry, stupid joke.
(Well I'm sure you did not believe me anyway !)
Now, more seriously.
Everything is find,
the only things that need a little (More) attention is my blood sugar,
I am a little high at 7.7
but I know why and I know what to do.
The doctor wanted to give me pills but I say no,
I will cut on cereals and the same.
My bad cholesteral is a little high, just a little,
therefore I will cut on butter and the same...
Soooooo.... No too bad after all,
many people have bigger problem(s) than me
and don't know what to do about it.
On Wenesday, I will get operated for my hernia,
a one day round trip to the hospital,
no big deal other than some pain...
Being married with a Vietnamese wife is more painfull
that that small operation.  :nono: :duh:
It's a joke, yes, it is...

Hi Nordkapp,
yes, yes, yes, Vietnamese woman are sweet,
well, Vietnamese women from the South of Vietnam.
My wife might not be the sweetest of all,
but I've been with her for more than 20 years,
that must mean something !

I see. Where do you reside now? Any way best of luck with your health. My cholesterol is a bit high as well. Thankfully, no sugar problems for now. Your hernia op really should be fine. Sorry if I scared you earlier with that story about my friend.

Hi Nordkapp,
I've been in Montreal, Quebec, Canada for the last 10 months taking care of the sponsoring
proceedures for my wife.
She wants to come and live in Canada,
that was 50% of the reason why she married me, the other 50% was because I had $$$$
now she's got all my $$$$$
You did not really scared me about my coming operation,
I know I will have some pain...

Guy 13
Nordkapp like Nord = North.

Nordkapp is Norwegian for North Cape. It is a small Town in the northern most cape of Norway. It is also the name of the sea kayak I paddle. Made by Valley Sea Kayaks out of England, it was the first kayak to survey this area on a very long expedition back in the 70s if I am correct. So that's it.
