Welcome to the Daedalus Audio circle
« on: 25 Aug 2009, 07:45 pm »
Welcome to the Daedalus Audio Circle, and thank you all for your enthusiastic support! The forum will be for discussion of the Daedalus speakers and any and all associated equipment, rooms and music. I will also work to create a sub-circle for the discussion of acoustic instrument amplification and recording studios, as well as the love of guitars. (guitar photos welcome!!)

The nature of this circle will be friendly and relaxed with the focus on community and information sharing. Most of what I've learned and done has come from listening to the community.

Please be patient with me as I get up to speed as a 'circle facilitator',  AND any advice is much appreciated.

thanks,
Lou

Welcome to AC, Lou.

I look forward to seeing you again at RMAF and to see what you will be doing with your own circle.

Cheers,

Wayne

As an extremely happy owner of a pair of Daedalus Audio Ulysses speakers I'm happy to see this circle up and running.

Lou's products and service are top notch, and I look forward to reading the comments from others who either own a pair of his speakers or are interested in hearing from those who do.

Welcome Lou, you and I have spent some time on the phone talking about your speakers about a year or two ago.

Hi Lou,

Welcome to AC and congrats on your new circle here!

Stereotimes reviewer, David Abramson, proudly owns your DaRMAs fed with our Isabella preamp and Sig 30.2 power amp.  I heard this combo for myself at his home and was very impressed!

All the best!

Hello Lou and welcome to AC. It will be nice to have you onboard. As a previous dealer for Daedalus, it is always nice to see another a 'familiar face' here.

As a proud owner of a pair of DA-1.1s, I enthusiastically welcome the Daedalus Circle.  :thumb: :thumb:

I have posted about the synergy of Lou's speakers with the ModWright KWA 150 here http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=64337.msg603788#msg603788 and here http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=64337.msg618115#msg618115.

Good listening to all

Glad to see that Lou has his own circle to run around in circles in:P

I am looking forward to hearing both Lou's room, as well as the ModWright room @ RMAF, as I use a pair of Ulysses and Dan's LS36.5/PS36.5.

Pass amps for now, but that is only because i got impatient for Dan's 150's.

Hope to meet some of you at the show.

Welcome Lou; glad you will have 'full-time' presence here.

As a very happy, relatively new owner of DA-RMa's, I'm pleased we have a forum to share thoughts and experiences regarding these great speakers.

As I've posted on a number of threads, here & elsewhere, my DA-RMa's have supplanted a number of high-end speakers that I've owned:  Thiel CS 2.2's & 3.6's; Wilson Benesch Act Ones; Sonus Faber Electa Amator II"s; and most recently JM Lab Micro Utopia (modded with all Cardas silver wire & solder).....the DA-RMa's just do a little bit of everything more 'right' to my ears   :D!!
