[SOLD]

This is a B&K Components ST-202 Plus power amplifier. It is rated at 200W into 8 Ohms and 300W into 4 Ohms. It features Class A pre-driver circuitry driving a Class AB Mosfet output stage. 1% metal film resistors used in the entire active circuitry. It has a very large toroidal power supply and huge capacitors. SNR is rated at 95dB. When I last had it serviced it was rated at 200 watts and .006% THD, which is better than manufacturers specs.

This sweet sounding amplifier was made in USA. I bought this amp used and have owned it for about 20 years. I thought it would be forever amp, but upgraded my entire system. Maybe it is your time to upgrade your amp.Amp is clean and working well. Sale As Is. It has a black face with no scratches and champagne color handles.

Musical Concepts in St. Charles, MO modifies B&K amps, including the ST-202+.

Hartley 24" woofer
This is from another project I'm never going to get around to do.
One Hartley 24" woofer from the 1970s.  Works fine.  Since they are as rare as hen's teeth I don't know what it should go for.

You can have the enclosure it came in which is a 28.5 x 35 x 38" bass reflex designed by Charles Santmire of Audio Systems and Design. The Kimsel acoustic material that was inside is all decayed and I have removed most of it, but you can also have the UltraTouch Unfaced Recycled Denim Batt Insulation that I was going to use to replace the Kimsel.

All this dates back to when I was using Magneplanar T-1D which of course needed help in the low bass.

Both of these amps have been sold.

I recently upgraded my main system with another Mark Levinson amp so I need to sell a couple of my amps I have around.  In my 2nd system I am using an MBL 8006b so that put another amp on the side lines.

For sale:
Mark Levinson 532h, I am the original owner and have original box and everything that came in the box, the amp is in great condition, I did find one small scratch on the top right.  Asking $3500.00

Coda CSX, great condition, runs cool and up to 20 watts Class A, 400x2 into 8 ohms.  I have original box and contents.  The CSX is an amazing amp and a steal at my asking price of $2500.00.  The CSX is a better amp than the MBL but a bit overkill for the 2nd system purpose.

Feel free to ask any questions, I can send pics or come over for a look.

SOLD. I recently reworked my listening room and I have a complete set of acoustic room treatments from Echo Buster for sale. Echo Buster acoustic treatments are no longer manufactured, but they were favorably reviewed in Stereophile and Absolute Sound if you would like more information. There are 4 Echo Buster absorption panels (2@ 18"x48" and 2@ 12"x48"), 2 Echo Buster corner bass traps, 2 Echo Buster corner absorbers, and 5 diffuser/absorber panels that are 20"x20".  I am the original owner, and all the panels are in excellent condition. The Echo Busters are 2 inches thick and are covered with an oatmeal colored fabric. The corner bass traps are 1/4 round and 48" tall. The (5) diffuser/absorber panels are 2 inches of acoustic foam and have a brown wood veneer front.
I would prefer to sell this as a complete room setup, rather than piecing them out and I will discount the price accordingly. The complete set of room treatments is available for $500. Cash only and local pick up please. You can text me at 314-452-1313 for more information or if you would like to check them out. Pictures are available. Thanks, Dave

My Coda CSX is now sold.

My Mark Levinson 532h is still for sale.  Another GAS member has this same model we are both pleased with it.  I'm selling due to purchase of a higher model in the line.

I'm also considering a high end solid state DAC, MQA preferred if anyone has one or a recommendation of something to look into

Are you aware that MQA is in bankruptcy now and that Tidal will be moving to high-rez FLAC files for streaming?

OK, good. I just didn't want you going out of your way for a MQA-capable player when the primary source of those files had dropped that format.

Free to a Good Home: Photographic Darkroom Enlarger

This belonged to my father. It hasn't been used in several years, but I believe it still works. I no longer run a wet darkroom, having made the move to digital years ago. If you still use a traditional darkroom to print your B&W photos, this can be yours for free. Located in Lake Saint Louis.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE Sota Table Local pickup St Louis
« Reply #694 on: 15 Jul 2023, 12:49 am »
I have a free Sota Table to be picked up in St Louis. It functions, dust cover has some cracks and I believe the arm board is setup for Linn mount arms.

Text to 314-532-0095

It’s free so please don’t bombard me with a bunch of questions.  I bought it to setup as a second table and just don’t have time to do it or room for second table.

I know a young lady that is about to head to college.  She is a music lover, buys LP's but doesn't have anything of her own to play them on.  I'd like to help her out.   I have already given all my closet gear away.

If anyone has something they'd be willing to donate to her or sell for cheap as I'd have to buy it and just give it away I'd appreciate it.  I was thinking turntable and stereo receiver or integrated.  An all-in-one might work if it was something that wouldn't damage vinyl when played.  It should also not need repair, in order to keep cost down and she will be leaving soon.

Just PM if you can hehlp.

Thanks, Bryan

Audire Model One power amp.

Very basic power amp, but it sounds quite lovely!

There's no power switch, RCA inputs, and banana/5 way output posts.  Use with a switched outlet.  There is no turn on/turn off thump.

About 50wpc, perfect for higher sensitivity speakers or systems that don't need a ton of power.  50 watts goes a long way.
