I'd like to take the opportunity to wish the Salk Sound family a Merry Christmas as well. Jim and Mary, it was a pleasure meeting the two of you at the Oregon GTG earlier this year.

(I really did move)

So thats where you've been. Good to see you back and posting again.  :D

Happy Hollidays,

Michael Scott (My actual name, although I'm a bit goofier looking than the one in your avatar.  :?

A very Merry Christmas to Jim and Mary, Dennis and the rest of the crew.  Happy Holidays to everyone on Audio Circle.

Thanks for the holiday greetings, everyone.  And right back at you.  Jim sent me a whole bunch of HT4 vouchers, but unfortunately 23" of white stuff forced me to close the Bethesda showroom.  At least I had a chance to tweak the FINAL version of the HT4.  Or at least I hope so.  This thing has had a longer gestastion period than the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

AHA!  An idea creeps out of my mud-like mind...spurred as it were by Dennis's imagery.

BEHOLD, the new Salk DreamScape!   aa  (Or has the SoundScape or other name been officially adopted?)

I received Jim's card yesterday and want to wish his entire family and
organization the most joyous of holidays. Futhermore, a special thanks
for building me a stunning pair of Songtowers in rosewood with
matching center and SongSub. Music never sounded so good. Alas,
mighty Beethoven awaits. Thank again.

Thanks to Jim, Mary, and the entire Salk family for making this one great-sounding year!  I've only been occasionally lurking on the boards because I'm too busy hearing how great my music, movies and games now sound!

Merry Christmas

...to Jim, Mary, Dennis, and everyone at Salksound. It is always enjoyable to work with Jim and Dennis on a design and collaborate with such true gentlemen. And, Happy Holidays to all you crazies that post on the forum too. Keep the music playing, and may 2010 be a wonderful year for all.

Thanks Jeff--the feeling is more than mutual.  I'm off to Arizona--enough of Bethesda snow and road ice.  Happy holidays to all!

I received my Salk holiday card on Monday.  Very tasteful with the matching envelope.  Jim, you outdid yourself.

This has been a great year, having received my HT2-TL and some AVA gear, visiting with Dennis both in Boston and in Denver, meeting Jim and Mary in Denver, meeting Frank and Wayner in Denver, meeting Ed Crammer, Paul, Bryan Pape, and other AC members @ RMAF, touring RMAF with Dennis, meeting Zybar, OgOgilby and other NEAR members, and getting to know everyone here on the Salk circle.   :thumb:

My family and I are traveling to South Carolina for the holidays, weather permitting. :xmas:  If not, you can find me at the airport.  :o

Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to everyone.

Charlotte

This trip, we are flying into Greenville, SC, although we usually fly into CLT and then drive to Spartanburg.  I have always liked Charlotte and lived there briefly in the early 80's.  I also attended college in NC, but my alma mater is down in the Sandhills.

Beautiful country, the Carolinas.  Pretty decent barbecue, too, but nothing like I smoke up here in Boston.  :D

Have you ever been to Lexington, if you are into smoked bbq, it is worth the trip.
