Title: Re: WIRING - BENT ALPS REMOTE MODULE _ HELP_!!!
Post by: John Chapman on 13 Mar 2009, 03:21 am
Hello!

I don't think you'll get much help out there on that one.... That unit was a prototype unit and aside from a few others here in my shop it may be the only one like it in the world. It was a BSA-1 PCB (done for goldpoint) that was run from an ALPS motor pot. Something we thought we'd do with goldpoint but now in typical engineering fashion we are on to a new design..... It was kinda fun.   It was tossed in the box with your pre-amp as I recall - kind of a beta test unit! I sent an e-mail to you tonight - hope you got it. I will dig out one of the others tomorrow and then we'll get it going I am sure or I'll fire you down something else to put in it's place.

Thansk!

John

Sorry for the late posting, but the ALPS is now working, it sounds great and is a wonderful little attenuator, remote to boot!

I'd recommend it anyone who is looking for a great single input attenuator with remote!

Thanks JOHN!
