Okay, but just don't post the other 2099 pictures all at once in this thread! But seriously, that's a beauty shot.  I remember Bar Harbor from a family vacation many years ago. Nice place; unfortunately my family was there. :P

So you really DO take a holiday in cambodia and go and make a video with the entirely wrong songs!  Fer cryin' out loud...

Yep, the magic happens with the shallow DOF.  The video crowd has got this big thing for these 35mm lens adapters so you can get that look, and you can see why.  You guys have probably seen that top-shelf production done with the Canon whatsits that shoots video, right?  I can't remember what it's called, but it was all shot with an SLR.  Dude dreams of some girl at night in a big city, helicopter, driving around, sunglasses and stuff.  Total eye candy.

nice pics - how long was your stay? First pic is a plant that should have had multiple hummingbirds around it. Do you know if that is that a man made buffer in the little lagoon?

Yea, after I shot the photo, I took this little fellow to the oven to dry him out.
Afterwards, I rolled him up and smoked him.
FYI - Wasn't very good, I would not recommend it.

Here's a bit of a rarity for you - pinhole macro photography:

It's a back-lit tomato slice taken with my medium form factor 24mm focal length pinhole (0.15mm diameter hole) at a distance of about 24mm from the pinhole (1:1 macro).

At first glance you might think so. But when a wild animal is "idiot" enough to sniff your shoe while your taking it's picture, that's just begging to enact the fine art of "natural selection". The darn thing ran around inside my garage while I'm frantically snapping its picture. Unfortunately, those are the photos that were too blurry to show off. By the time I was level headed enough to take a reasonable photograph, it was back outside, in the gravel driveway staring at me.
....Ok.....I'm the idiot.  :duh:

I would have guess that tomato to be anything but a tomato.
Wow, that's just neat....but gross...
Brad and his pin hole are a force to be reckoned with, that's for sure. Nice shot dude.

Sicko....

Ok Brad, what's the thought process behind the backlighting of a slice of tomato?
I gotta know.
