Title: Anyone restore Pioneer CT-F1000 loacally?
Post by: nrenter on 23 Jul 2010, 09:10 pm
I've got a Pioneer CT-F1000 cassette deck I'd like to have restored (re-cap'ed, aligned, etc.). Anyone know of a good resource in the DFW area to do that type of work?

Thanks! I've had Frank re-cap the power supply of my CT-F1000 and now he's restoring a Pioneer SX-450 for my brother (yes, it's $200 or restoration into a $5 receiver...but there's sentimental value attached to this receiver).

However, I still need someone who can really troubleshoot and restore the transport. I've replaced the belts, tires and FF / RW pulley, but I'm still getting a bit of wow and flutter on playback. Let me know...
