GTG in Gloucester?
« on: 29 Jul 2010, 11:06 pm »
Hi folks,
I had a great time at the GTG hosted by Zybar (aka George H) at his place in Holliston last year.  So, given that it would be nice to have some variety, I thought I'd offer up my place as a possible venue for this year. As many of you know I have a pair of Geddes Abbey speakers and complementary bandpass subs that I built.  Sometimes I get involved in other things and go off on other tangents, but then after doing so, it is always an amazing experience to sit down and listen to some music on Dr. G's speakers "anew" (I'm referring to the incredible presence and imaging here).  Anyway, I think it would be fun to share this experience with the growing community of audiophiles out there.  So...  what the heck?  Are you interested?  You can alway bring your families along and send them off to one of our terrific Gloucester beaches while we focus on the important stuff here (music and beer).  Let me know -

Best,  Doug

I'm flexible on dates, so if folks can PM me with the dates that are possible I'll try to pick a Saturday that works for everyone.

All Saturdays are pretty much bad for me (wife generally works).

Sundays are preferable.

I'd love to finally get you over here George - Sundays are fine with me.  Let's see what folks have available over the next few weeks (PM me).

I would be interested as well.  Although the next two weekends are already booked.

Cheers,

I haven't received any negative feedback on that date (actually, I didn't receive any positive feedback either).  Is everyone who expressed an interest cool with that?

Since George seems to have given up the ghost, would the rest of you prefer Saturday the 21st?
