Hi,
Can you tell me availability and pricing on King STM?
Can you modify them - I would like the front jack to be proper RCA.

We are planning a STM pre-order special very soon. This will be announced to our newsletter subscribers as usual. Estimated delivery is July. This will be a limited run and will use our new board.
It's possible but costly to modify the design (minimum orders on a modified enclosure, etc.). We suggest a high quality 1/8"-to-RCA(stereo) cable. That will provide a "cleaner look" as well. Performance is not inhibited through the front input connector.
I sent a PM recently sating the same. Did you receive it?
Thanks.

I was just at my friend's NYC apartment, where he uses a King STM to drive Von Schweikert VR4-JRs. Oppo 205 as source.
Sounds great, and the small and very cool form factor is just the ticket for a tidy but high-end setup, desktop or full blown system.
We didn't crank it toooo much (not to Tommy levels) but I was assured that there have been 100 people in this apt with the tunes cranked with no issues at all. ever. once.
Highly recommended.
The amp does run warm - I instructed my friend to place them (pwr supply and amp) next to each other just in case.

That’s a super sweet deal. It’s easy to dismiss this amp on account of its diminutive size, lack lustre appearance and bare bone simplicity. Just one quick look and that’s all quite obvious.
What isn’t so obvious, at least until you hear it with your own ears, is quite shocking. This amp is the electronic equivalent of Peter Parker / Clark Kent. I’m not kidding, there’s a lot more here for the ear than meets the eye.
Even if you’re prepared to spend seven, eight, nine thousand dollars or more on something more in line with conventional wisdom, you may very well be selling yourself short, because even - if - an amp as such sounds as good, that’s a lot of money for nothing.

The look is fine. It’s just not what most people would associate with a $1200 price tag, especially when you can get something much bigger and heavier with more inputs that looks like one these for less money.

Congratulations, make sure you have lots of clean underwear handy before you plug it in and listen.

Do those offer 120dB SNR? How about 100kHz bandwidth? How about DC coupling? How about high wideband damping factor?
NOPE (:
