Plasma Lines ????

 :D  hi all tv experts,,,, i have an old Pan Plas with zero miles really....  it has been sitting around a lot.. it has a few vertical lines on it..
         of course not seen in every frame..  is this old unit toast ??  is there any hope of a fix ?? or are these things absolute throw-aways ????
             thanks for any help.... i will keep it if i can,, e-junk is hi on my list of 'not so good' things ,,,,,  :D

A lot of problems with plasma sets is power supply related. Namely capacitors. If the baseball bat method fails, take a look at the power supply :D
