I have a new pair of SBA TW29RNB8 for my new DIY 2way.
Should I run them in before measuring?
Do tweeters change with break in like woofers?
If so:
How long, how loud and what signal to use?
I have an mp3 of the old frybaby signal, or white noise, or music behind a highpass?
Thanks

Doesn't appear to have the same interest as five years ago. I've of course experienced break in with speaker systems, but never just a tweeter. I would guess the two would be similar as the tweeter is smaller than a woofer/midrange, but it's excursion and power demands are also smaller. If anything the tweeter with it's stiffer suspension may take a little longer than a woofer. I would say play it until it sounds better.

And stop playing them if they start to sound worse.

I could favor a 4" cone FR Fostex or Mark Áudio in Open or OB tô use the Dipole effect.
SBA have two nice 4" one paper cone and other alu.

I'm not following how this relates to break-in and measurement of the SB Acoustics Satori TW29RN-B-8 tweeters?
