Wow, that is quite a collection...it is so wild to think of all the cars that end up in collections and people kind of forget about them, it is great to see he is sharing it with people to appreciate.  I found this a while back online, could you imagine how cool this would be to stumble upon?

Story on that one was that the land was bought by a foreign couple for their retirement and the barn was to be demolished as no one had a use for it, until they looked inside!

Thanks for posting this Bob.  Do you have photos of Jay Leno's collection or Jerry Seinfield's Porsche collection?

Thanks Sam.  Where is this barn, in Europe?  I've had a few of the cars in that collection.  I still have a BMW 2002.

Very cool. Lots of exceptional iron there.

I was fortunate enough to attend a vintage racing dinner at this place: http://www.mathewscollection.com/collection.htm A pretty cool collection with some truly cool old McLaren's.

The cool thing about Jay is he actually drives them all too.  My uncle was lucky enough to tour his collection and Jay even fired up his bike with the turbine engine and took it around the block.

The vintage race cars are awesome, the F1 cars from the 60's and 70's were really monsters and it is amazing to think anyone survived driving them!

Chris, thanks for the link.  Didn't know Jay had a website for his collection.  I picked the wrong line of work, should have been a comedian and then a talk show host!   :duh:

Quite a few very talented racers didn't survive, most famous is Aryton Senna.  RIP.

Thanks for the link Chris. I knew he had an impressive collection, but HOLY COW!  :o
At one point in time, I knew he had a Tomahawk, but I didn't see it in the list.
Not that I'm man enough to ride one, but I'd like to see one in person someday.

Bob,

I assume you mean the Dodge Tomahawk?  I heard this thing start up in Detroit at NAIAS a few years back and it was possibly the loudest vehicle I have ever heard, made the NASCAR engines seem tame....I have ridden many very fast bikes but that thing would truly terrify me as would the jet bike....

That's insane!

"The Dodge Tomahawk can reach 60 miles an hour in about 2.5 seconds, and has a theoretical top speed of nearly 400 mph."

How big are YOUR 'nads?  aa
