Title: Rolling Stone Magazine and Bryston
Post by: James Tanner on 23 Feb 2011, 11:11 pm
Hi Folks,

As you know I paid a visit to Rolling Stone magazine in December and left them a B100 SST Integrated amplifier and a BDP-1 Digital Player and BDA-1 DAC to have a listen - here is some feedback I received today - maybe there is hope after all to positively affect the next generation :thumb:

“Now that I’ve heard the Bryston B-100 with my Thiel speakers, I totally understand why people become obsessed with high-end audio gear. There were tons of new details in super-familiar records, the speakers’ three-dimensional quality was more real than ever, and they started producing enough bass that I could’ve been ...convinced my subwoofer was on.

It’s pretty mindblowing.”

Nice -- that statement should get a few of their readers to look at the high end and compare it to their iPods.   :D

Wow, that's really cool!

I love it when someone new "gets it".
