Is there a good tube FAQ out there? I have checked Usenet, and didn't find much.
I have dumb questions. I am new to tubes, and I don't want to embarass myself, and waste everyone's time.
For example, what is a single ended triode? I read on the Audio Note site that Peter Q prefers direct heated triodes over anything else. What is that? Are they the same thing? I Don't even know what my amp is!
Ohh well. . . I know it's magical, and very seductive. I love the tubes. It took me a long time to realize it, but I think I am a tube guy.
